About me

An independent, self-driven educated female that holds a bachelor in education degree from the American University of Beirut, who has transitioned from working in Lebanon to working in Saudi Arabia for a duration exceeding four years, and then relocating into a prestigious school in Kuwait, and currently holding this position. I have been teaching Mathematics for the past seven years and have
enjoyed every moment of it. Teaching and enriching students in the field of Mathematics will always be my motivation in order to prepare them to confront the continuous dynamic changes in the years to come. I have recently completed my Masters of Science from the State University of New York, and I am eager to implement the methodologies learned in my classroom.  I chose to be a teacher because the more you know, the more you will grow. I choose to be an educator to promote knowledge
transfer and enrich future youth. My goal is to equip students with the right weapons to face any obstacles they might encounter, as knowledge is the driving force behind all the innovations in the world. Learning is a framework in education. For a student to learn, teachers need to start small and gradually increase into more challenging tasks. In parallel, those tasks will play a significant
role in developing a student’s self-esteem, motivation, and readiness to face life hurdles. In a day to day classroom, I tend to facilitate learning and understanding in a student-centered environment. Currently, I am responsible to teach 25 students in an inclusion classroom, which has allowed me to refine my skills, handling extreme behavior issues, while maintaining a focused classroom. One
of the most important traits I possess and like to mention is the ease of transitioning and adapting into different cultures. I have worked in three different countries and interacted with students from across the globe whom I have enjoyed learning about their various cultures and traditions. Moreover, this in hand has helped me establish different teaching methods that ease the transfer of knowledge especially for students with different learning abilities.
In summary, I believe my teaching experience, passion for community engagement, perseverance, and excellent communication
skills make me an ideal candidate for a teaching position at an International school. Adding emotional intelligence and empathy to the
above traits mentioned, will assist me in contributing to the community and making a difference in the lives of the future innovative
leaders.
